Each year, GFTC experts audit and consult with over 1500 businesses in the food and beverage industry and train more than 3000 professionals. Their services reach across the globe to 26 countries in 8 languages.
Each business GFTC work with has unique needs and challenges, from developing new products to meeting global food safety standards to incorporating sustainable practices.
Two staff members of our supervisor team have attended the Guelph Food Technology Centre's (GFTC) training seminar, which is part of the HACCP prerequisite program.
Nouveau Taste have done HACCP Training I & II, and we passed AUDT by GFTC in September, 2009.
In Aug. 2014, we have been audited by the GFTC and we received an honourable rating on the Good Manufacturing Practices Audit. (Silver: 90 – 94.99%)
Nouveau Taste Inc is the proud recipient of a 2009 Award of Distinction for excellence in hot and cold hors d'oeuvres production.
Members of the TopRestaurants.com team sampled our food in a hotel function and tracked down the origin of the food production company. They interviewed our supervisors and toured our facilities and are totally impressed. This is one of the few occasions in which they presented their award to a food production company besides restaurants.

In August, 2014, we have set up electrical back-up generators for our plant.
We are proud to state that we are one of the few food-processing plants in Toronto with independent electrical back-up generators.
